The Great Twelve Sailing Challenge was founded in 2004 by the Ironmongers Company. While the event raises money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, its main purpose is make friends and get to know the other Livery Companies. The result is greater camaraderie and friendships that also leads to better integration in Company events.
